PTF SECRET SHOP IS COMING SOON!!!

The PTF Secret Shop will be here in 4 weeks and your child can shop for their
brothers, sisters, mom, dad, grandparents and anyone else on their list.  The
children enjoy shopping around for the right gift.  All of the money raised will go
back to the teachers as their Christmas gift from the Parent-Teacher Fellowship
(PTF).  We are in need of volunteers to help run the Secret Shop.  If you could
volunteer for a morning or afternoon – or both, please call Mrs. Cox at 788-1587 and
let her know you can help.  Quality donated items and/or money to purchase items
to sell are greatly appreciated.  Any donated items or money can be brought to the
school office.  Thank you once again for all you do to make Baptist Academy a great
  place to be!

Operation Christmas Child

 Collecting items – Nov. 3-18
Sort & Set up – Nov. 17
Packing Day – Nov. 18

Remember, your child will be filling up their own box this year!  It will be a fun filled time with their classmates.

For a delicious Thanksgiving dinner, try one of these
recipes submitted by Mrs. Harris’s kindergarten students:

  Turkey – Stanley Allen

Go to the store and get a turkey, a little bit big.  Cook it in the oven which is really
hot.  Cook it for an hour and half.  Don’t put anything on it.

  Grapes – William Breitweg

Get 100 grapes and eat them then you feel juice.

  Cookies – Cameron Biddinger:

Get 10 chocolates and put in the refregerator and let it freeze for a while.  Then I
eat cookies when it’s all freezed up.

Watch for more wonderful recipes to follow in the coming weeks!

Some people confess a sin a thousand times.  I tell them to confess it once,
